Celeb trainer Tracy Anderson’s ex-husband was found dead at 48 years old in Indianapolis.
Tracy’s husband, former NY Knicks basketball player Eric Anderson died of natural causes on Sunday, the Indianapolis Star reports.
“It’s cardiac-related, but natural causes until doc can confirm that in a report to me,” Hamilton County Coroner John Chalfin told the Indianapolis Star.
Carmel Lt. Joe Bickel explained to the newspaper that Eric’s sister called the police after she didn’t hear from him for days. “His sister hadn’t heard from him in a couple days, which she thought was odd because he was fighting some type of illness.” When officers arrived at the scene, Eric was found dead.
A rep for Tracy told Page Six, “We are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Eric Anderson. Eric was a true friend to Tracy, a loving and incredibly dedicated father to their son Sam, and always willing to lend a helping hand to many of us at Tracy Anderson throughout the years. Our hearts are grieving with Tracy and her family during this difficult time.”
Tracy and Eric married in 1998 and split up 10 years later. They share a son, Sam, who is 20 years old.
Eric was 48 years old.
