Daniel Craig Hurt By Early Criticism Of Bond Casting

Daniel Craig is out to show they made the right choice in picking him as the new James Bond.

The complaints aboutCraig started the minute he was cast as James Bond. He’s blond. He’s short. The New York Times described his face as “pale and flattened” with “large, fleshy ears.”

Craig admits he was affected by the criticism. He says he had “a little bit of a dark day.” But once he got on the set and the cast supported him, he let it go. He didn’t let the criticisms hurt him for long.

Fans can make their own judgement starting today with the opening of Craig’s first Bond movie, “Casino Royale.”
