Former ‘Idol’ Nikki McKibbin Heads To ‘Celebrity Rehab’

American Idol” Season One finalist Nikki McKibbin is heading to “Celebrity Rehab.”

The flame-haired petite singer, who made it to “Idol’s” original final three alongside Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini, was confirmed as a member of Dr. Drew’s VH1 reality show, “Celebrity Rehab,” according to the Associated Press.

No information about why McKibbin was joining the program was available, when the cast announcement was released.

In March, McKibbin broke her foot, a rep for the singer previously told Access. She was given pain medication that prompted a “very bad reaction,” her rep said at the time. She was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, given new pain medication and released.

McKibbin will join Rod Stewart’s son, Sean Stewart, also a reality show veteran (“Sons of Hollywood”) in treatment on the show.

Steven Adler, a founding member of Guns ‘N Roses, who was fired in 1990 over his drug problems, was also announced as part of the cast.

Tawny Kitaen, an ‘80s video vixen and former “Surreal Life” star who was arrested in 2006 for possession of cocaine, will undergo the program as well.

Other cast members include actor Gary Busey, model-turned-actress Amber Smith, Rodney King and Jeff Conaway, the “Grease” star who left “Celebrity Rehab” Season One before completing the program.
