Godzilla To Fight King Kong On Big Screen In 2020

Talk about a big screen showdown – Godzilla and King Kong will battle in what is sure to be an epic movie!

Legendary and Warner Bros. Pictures announced on Wednesday that the radioactive giant lizard and the gargantuan gorilla will now share a cinematic universe.

Three movies were announced, including 2017’s “Kong: Skull Island,” “Godzilla 2” in 2018 and “Godzilla vs. Kong,” arriving in theaters in 2020.

“Audiences really responded to Godzilla,” Legendary CEO Thomas Tull said in a statement. “Today, I’m excited to reveal that film was only the beginning of an epic new entertainment universe. 

“As a lifelong fan of these characters, I’ve always wanted to see the ultimate showdown, and today we’re pleased to be announcing that and more,” Tull added.

While Kong has some skills, our money is on Godzilla for the 2020 showdown – he’s got that atomic breath thing going on – how will the giant gorilla top that?
