Inside Tommy Lee & Pamela Anderson’s 14-Year-Old’s Rave Birthday Party

When you’re Tommy Lee’s son, having your birthday party shut down three separate times by the police is something to celebrate.

The rocker dad stopped by Access Hollywood Live Thursday morning and gave Billy Bush and Kit Hoover inside details about his son’s recent birthday celebration.

“My oldest son Brandon had become really obsessed with dance music. He’s so into it,” Tommy explained. “He’s like, ‘Dad I want to have a rave for my birthday… I want you to DJ and I want Deadmau5’”

Tommy said he wasn’t able to book the mouse mask-wearing DJ – who was the VMA house DJ earlier this month – because Deadmau5 was on tour…. but did land another skilled turntable artist.

“I called Mix Matser Mike from the Beastie Boys, Mike comes down and spins for awhile, me and my partner DJ Aero spin,” he continued. “So, Pamela and I threw him this crazy rave!”

Despite the high profile bookings, Tommy said his son’s party still had the usual teenage awkwardness, at least in the beginning.

“I don’t know what happened, but the ice broke and the next thing I see everybody is rolling around on the floor, glow sticking, dancing, and the cops come three times,” Tommy said.

The police proved to be guests that Tommy and Pamela’s son was ecstatic about having.

“I think that was [my son’s favorite] part… He was so excited about that,” Tommy added.
