K-Pop’s Newest Rising Stars IDID: Everything to Know About The Group Ahead of Their ‘FLY!’ Comeback

K-pop’s newest rising stars are IDID.

The seven-member boy group from Starship Entertainment, has announced their highly-anticipated comeback with “IDID Single Album [FLY!],” which is set to release on May 27. The new release features two tracks, “FLY!” and “Attent!on.” The title track, “FLY!” Will also have an official music video.

 For a group, whose name comes from the phrase “I did it,” the upcoming release feels especially fitting. It’s a bold next step for a group that has built their identity around ambition, instinct and the fearless pursuit of possibility. Now, Access Hollywood is taking a closer look at the members in the group.

 Who Is IDID?

 K-pop idols IDID officially debuted on Sept. 15 with their first album, “[I did it.].” With their debut, they became Starship Entertainment’s first new boy group in roughly five years. It marked a major milestone for the company. The group was formed through Starship’s 2025 survival program, Debut’s Plan, which captivated K-pop fans worldwide as viewers followed trainees competing for a place in what many knew would become one of the year’s biggest rookie launches.

 What To Know About The Members of IDID:

JANG YONGHOON (Leader) Born: April 20, 2005 

The group’s leader, JANG YONGHOON is a former short track speed skater and youth basketball player. He’s known for his love of fragrances, especially gifting scents he thinks match other people. He also has a love for Texas barbecue. 

KIM MINJAE Born: Aug. 17, 2005 

The No. 1 finalist from Debut’s Plan, KIM MINJAE is a standout dancer, huge soccer fan and aspiring songwriter. His biggest inspirations include Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber. He also has a soft spot for desserts. 

PARK WONBIN Born: April 19, 2006 

A natural visual storyteller, PARK WONBIN has an eye for aesthetics and an interest in visual directing. He’s also a skilled cook and lifelong animal lover who once dreamed of becoming a zookeeper. 

CHU YOOCHAN Born: Oct. 3, 2006 

Known for his distinctive vocal tone, CHU YOOCHAN reportedly ranks No. 1 in physical strength among the members. His ideal way to recharge? Watching movies or dramas in bed with his fave snacks of cookies and nuts nearby. 

PARK SEONGHYEON Born: Oct. 5, 2007 

PARK SEONGHYEON brings powerful street dance energy to the group and loves building choreography inspired by international dancers. He’s also passionate about streetwear, skateboarding and songwriting. He’s also not scared when it comes to watching horror movies!

BAEK JUNHYUK Born: June 7, 2008 

Deeply influenced by a wide range of music styles, BAEK JUNHYUK interests span music, dance and fashion. His fave label is Bathing Ape. He’s also a fan of Jim Carrey, especially “The Truman Show,” and dreams of one day performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show. 

JEONG SEMIN Born: Oct. 10, 2008 

The youngest male idol ever to debut under Starship Entertainment, JEONG SEMIN brings Gen Z energy to the group. He loves plushies, trendy desserts and stays especially tuned in to the latest TikTok trends.

IDID is set to release “IDID Single Album [FLY!]” on May 27.
