Michael and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, recently revealed the baby they are expecting (due in August) is a boy, and on Graham’s show, he talked about the baby-making process.

“There was nothing sexy about it,” the crooner said. “My wife is so beautiful but it wasn’t like that. She was very, ‘You know what Mike, it’s nine o’clock on Tuesday night and we must do it now.’”

Rather sweetly, Michael began singing to his child during the early days of her pregnancy.

“I was doing it early on, really early on and I didn’t know because I’ve never had a baby before… and in the middle of singing my wife starts laughing and says, ‘The baby is two months and has no ears to hear you,’” Michael recounted.

The pair haven’t yet chosen a name for their little one, but he could end up with something like, “Dirt.”

“My wife is killing me, we fight about the names,” he said. “She keeps coming up with names that she thinks sound good in Spanish, like ‘Dirt’… Dirt Buble!”

“The Graham Norton Show” airs Thursday at 10 ET/PT on BBC America.
