Rachel McAdams Joins Marvel’s ‘Doctor Strange’

Rachel McAdams will reportedly dive into the world of Marvel!

The actress told The Wrap that she will star in “Doctor Strange,” with Benedict Cumberbatch playing the title role.

The details on her role are being kept under wraps, but some have speculated that she’ll be playing Stephen Strange’s disciple-turned-love interest Clea, who is the Sorceress Supreme of the Dark Dimension and possesses vast magical powers.

The Marvel film also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor as villain Baron Mordo, Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One and rumors of Mads Mikkelsen in an unspecified role.

Marvel did not immediately reply to Access’ request for comment.

“Doctor Strange” is slated to hit theaters on November 4, 2016.
