A$AP Rocky, Mariah Carey & More Share Their Favorite Rihanna Memories

In a series of interviews for W Magazine’s “Pop Issue,” which features Rihanna and her 7-month-old daughter, Rocki Irish, on its cover, several of the pop star’s friends and former collaborators spoke on what it’s like to exist in Rihanna’s orbit. First and foremost was the 38-year-old’s longtime partner, A$AP Rocky, who explained that while motherhood has changed Rihanna, she has quote, “always been magic.” Fellow pop star Mariah Carey echoed the rapper’s sentiments when recalling the first time she met Rihanna, when the FENTY Beauty founder was just 17 years old. “I had a feeling she was going to be a major star,” Mariah explained, adding, that Rihanna is a “real girl’s girl.”
