Adam Driver Tears Up As ‘Ferrari’ Receives 7-Minute Standing Ovation At 2023 Venice Film Festival

Adam Driver is feeling the love! The Oscar nominee, 39, appeared visibly moved during the response to his new movie “Ferrari” at the 2023 Venice Film Festival. The project received a reported seven-minute standing ovation following its Aug. 31 screening and Adam teared up at the film’s dramatic conclusion, according to Variety. Distribution company Neon shared footage of the accolades on Instagram, showing Adam lining up with co-stars Patrick Dempsey and Daniela Piperno and director Michael Mann as the crowd continued its rousing applause. “Ferrari” stars Adam as race car driver-turned-auto magnate Enzo Ferrar and it’s not the first time the “Star Wars” villain has portrayed an Italian icon! Adam previously earned praise for his work as fashion mogul Maurizio Gucci in Ridley Scott’s “House of Gucci” opposite Lady Gaga and Jared Leto.
