Brad Pitt Reveals Story Behind Fake Hot Dog ‘Tramp Stamp’ Tattoo for ‘F1’ Movie

Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans spoke to Brad Pitt and Javier Bardem about their upcoming highly anticipated “F1” movie. The duo spoke about their friendship and about the making the action-packed film while attending the actual Formula 1 races. Brad revealed in the interview why his character Sonny Hayes has a hot dog tattoo on his back, “The back story is, he and Rubin, Javier’s character, were teammates and drivers in F1 in the early 90s’ and Sonny has this catastrophic accident and does not return to the spot. But it was this idea of marking what was a painful time with some kind of humor, the painful time in his history. So, one, he’s got the track on his forearm here…then then the hot dog is pointing to his scar, where the operation was on his back, like, ‘gotcha!’” Brad added, “It was a way to embrace, what would be emblematically a horrific moment when it happened.” “F1” will be released in theaters on June 27.
