Donald Trump Threatens To Sue Trevor Noah After Grammys Joke About Epstein Island

President Donald Trump is threatening to sue Trevor Noah over the comedian’s joke at the Grammys which referenced Trump and Bill Clinton’s previous ties to Jeffrey Epstein. During the Feb. 1 ceremony, the 41-year-old host quipped about Trump’s relationship with Epstein after mocking his desires for the U.S. to acquire Greenland. “Song of the year. Congratulations Billie Eilish. Wow. That is a Grammy that every artist wants almost as much as Trump wants Greenland,” Noah said, adding, “Which makes sense, I mean, because Epstein’s island is gone, he needs a new one to hang out on with Bill Clinton.” The president took to his Truth Social early the next morning to blast Noah and the award show, writing, “The Grammy Awards are the WORST, virtually unwatchable! CBS is lucky not to have this garbage litter their airwaves any longer. The host, Trevor Noah, whoever he may be, is almost as bad as Jimmy Kimmel at the Low Ratings Academy Awards. Noah said, INCORRECTLY about me, that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein Island. WRONG!!! I can’t speak for Bill, but I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close, and until tonight’s false and defamatory statement, have never been accused of being there, not even by the Fake News Media.” Trump then called Noah a “total loser” before threatening to get his attorneys involved. “Get ready Noah, I’m going to have some fun with you!” he later added. Neither Trump nor Clinton have been charged with any crimes related to Epstein and both have denied any wrongdoing, per NBC News. Epstein previously claimed in both 2011 and 2015 exchanges that Clinton was “never” on the island, while Trump has also previously denied ever being there. Respective reps for the Grammys and Noah did not immediately issue any public response to Trump’s remarks. Clinton had also not commented as of publication time.
