Kelly Clarkson Says She Feels Like ‘A Weight Has Been Lifted’ With ‘Fresh Start’ In NYC

Kelly Clarkson is opening up about her recent move to New York City. In a new interview backstage with Audacy Music at its 10th annual We Can Survive 2023 concert, “The Kelly Clarkson Show” host reflected on her new home. “Oh, I live here. Yeah, my kids go to school, like we’re here and I love it,” she said. During the candid conversation she revealed how her daughter 9-year-old River Rose, and son 7-year-old Remington Alexander, whom she shares with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock are adjusting to the change. “They love it. So my son walked out of his school and was like ‘this is the right school for me.’ He was like ‘the other one didn’t fit like this one’ and I like cried,” she explained.
