Meghan Trainor wants to set the record straight once and for all. On Jan. 12, the singer commented once again on the ongoing speculation that she a was a part of the “toxic mom group” referred to in Ashley Tisdale’s now viral essay for The Cut. In a TikTok shared to her account, Meghan lip syncs to audio from Season 5 of “Stranger Things” in which the character Holly Wheeler exclaims, “Please you have to believe me!” “Me still trying to convince everyone I’m not involved in the mom group drama,” reads the text over the video. Meghan left no room for doubt with the caption “I swear I’m innocent.”
