Pete Hegseth Quotes ‘Pulp Fiction’s’ Fake Bible Verse At Pentagon Prayer Service
A recent speech from Pete Hegseth may sound familiar to movie fans. The Secretary of Defense cited a Bible verse when speaking at a Pentagon worship service on April 15, but the scripture he quoted appeared to resemble an embellished version made famous in Quentin Tarantino’s1994 classic “Pulp Fiction.” Hegseth credited the prayer to a U.S. Air Force team that rescued an American airman from Iran in recent weeks, but social media was quick to draw parallels with that iconic monologue from Samuel L. Jackson.
