Prince Harry Visits Children’s Hospital During Solo UK Trip Without Meghan Markle, Archie Or Lilibet

Prince Harry’s U.K. trip included a stop to one of his most important causes. On Thursday, July 9, the Duke of Sussex visited Birmingham Children’s Hospital where he met with patients and staff. During his outing, Harry made a speech to highlight the 20th anniversary of the first WellChild Nurse. The role is partly funded by Harry and is designed to support children with complex medical needs and their families. Harry became a patron of WellChild in 2007 and has continued to support the organization, including at their WellChild Awards, despite stepping down as a working member of the royal family in 2020 with wife Meghan Markle and relocating to California.
