Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas Move Out Of $20 Million Mansion Amid Mold Infestation Lawsuit

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have moved out of their California mansion amid an alleged mold infestation, Access Hollywood has learned. The couple and their 2-year-old daughter, Malti Marie, have reportedly moved to a temporary undisclosed location as their $20 million dream home undergoes repairs amid a continued lawsuit claiming extensive water damage on the property. According to court documents filed back in May 2023 and obtained recently by Page Six, the seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom house is allegedly “unlivable” and “dangerous from a health perspective to occupy.” Access Hollywood has reached out to Priyanka and Nick’s respective reps for comment. The property’s trustee reportedly claims in the suit that “porous waterproofing” led to alleged “mold contamination and related issues” less than a year after the home was purchased in 2019. “This has resulted in substantial and significant damage along with a failure of consideration which requires that the purchase and sale be rescinded,” the filing reportedly claims, adding that the trustee is seeking “consequential damages” on Priyanka and Nick’s behalf, including “all costs of repair, plus compensation for the loss of use” of the home. The complaint reportedly states that waterproofing costs are expected to exceed $1.5 million with additional damages estimated at $2.5 million. The house is reportedly unoccupied as construction continues and it is unclear when the Jonases will be able to move back in. Neither Priyanka nor Nick has commented publicly on the matter but a source close to the pair told Page Six that they are “disappointed” with the alleged building errors after having “invested significantly in the home.”
