Selena Gomez Says New Film ‘Emilia Pérez’ Is ‘Empowering’: ‘I’m Really Honored’

Selena Gomez has major love for “Emilia Pérez.” The star spoke with Access Hollywood at the Toronto International Film Festival about her role in the film, saying she feels “honored” to be in it. “I think the whole idea of this movie was from Jacques’ (Audiard) mind, but the perspective of four women. And I think it’s really empowering and a unique story that hasn’t ever quite been told like this. So I’m really honored to be a part of something that’s making an impact already and hopefully will continue to do so,” she said.
