Tyra Banks Opens Up About Motherhood & Says Her Son Is Finally ‘Understanding’ Her Career

Tyra Banks is loving life as a mom! “My little one is everything,” Tyra told Access Hollywood at the Sports Illustrated 60th anniversary red carpet. She is mom to 8-year-old son Banks Alsa and revealed he is finally now starting to understand her career. “He’s starting to kind of understand, kind of understand what modeling is. But I always tell him, mommy is just like all the other mommies at school, her job is just one that a lot of people get to see,” she added. While chatting with Access she also explained why women like Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Aniston inspired her going into her 50s. Plus she discussed being featured on the cover for the 60th anniversary of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
