5 Burning Questions We Have After Watching The New ‘Stranger Things’ Title Teaser

Stranger Things Kids

On Sunday night, Netflix gave fans a glimpse at Season 3 of “Stranger Things” in a short teaser that only revealed the titles of the episodes  – and of course we were left with plenty of questions!

Missing from the teaser was any actual footage of the Hawkins gang, but a few new names have been introduced including “Suzie” who appears to be a new character to town. There were also many references to the “Starcourt Mall,” a location that is new to the show.

Our questions are as follows:

  1. So, who is Suzie? A new friend perhaps? Or maybe a new love interest for our favorite boy-next-door, Steve?
  2. In a previous teaser, “Starcourt Mall” was introduced as the shiny new beacon of Hawkins, Indiana, and the titles, “Mall Rats” and “The Battle of Starcourt” have alluded to the teenage hotspot. Will the mall be the centerpiece of Season 3? Will Steve be too busy with his new job as a mall employee to fight demogorgons with the gang?
  3. The title, “The Case Of The Missing Lifeguard” sounds like a recipe for another crazy investigation, possibly with cryptic Christmas light messages involved. Who has gone missing this time? Did it happen at the pool?
  4. “The Birthday” could mean a lot of things. Is it a character’s birthday? Or is it possibly a different kind of celebration? And following classic ’80s nostalgia, can we expect a “16 Candles” situation?
  5. Finally, we have a lot of questions about what the summer of ’85 has in store. What will be different about the change in seasons? We can assume the gang has a lot more time on their hands – plenty of that we are sure will be spent fighting the looming evil of the “Mind Flayer” we met in Season 2!

One clue that has been revealed is that The Duffer Brothers said that Season 3 has been partially inspired by “The Thing,” a classic science fiction film about a parasitic alien that eats humans by the handful!

“While it is our most fun season, it also turns out to be our grossest season,” Ross Duffer told Digital Spy.

Fun? But, Gross? Guess we will see in 2019!
