As Access Hollywood Live’s “New Year, New You” series rolled on, nutritionist Haylie Pomroy, who works with lean-bodied stars like Jennifer Lopez, Ryan Reynolds and Reese Witherspoon, stopped by to show Billy Bush and Kit Hoover her top five slim down tips for 2012.
Haylie stressed the importance of breakfast and recommends her clients eat within 45 minutes of waking up. Haylie shared her favorite celebrity approved breakfast recipe – Oatmeal Smoothie. Hey, if it’s good enough Jennifer, it should be good enough for you!
Quick Oatmeal Smoothie
Blend dry in blendery until powdery
1/2 cup uncooked rolled oats & 1/4 cup raw nuts or seeds
Next, add in 1/2 cup of fruit, 1/2 cup of water, and 1/2 cup of ice. Blend until desired consistency.
