“Strike Back” Season 3 will return to Cinemax this summer, the network said in a release on Thursday.
The action-packed series centering around two counterterrorism operatives – Sgt. Michael Stonebridge (Philip Winchester) and Sgt. Damien Scott (Sullivan Stapleton) — is growing in Season 3 with several new cast members.
British actor Robson Green (formerly of the BBC America version of “Being Human”) has joined the show, playing a new member of Section 20.
Dougray Scott (he played Susan’s British boyfriend Ian Hainsworth on “Desperate Housewives” in 2006) is also part of the cast as James Leatherby, a “rogue operative,” per the network.
Additionally, Milauna Jackson (“Blood Done Sign My Name”) is set to portray a “key player who crosses paths with the counterterrorism team.”
Rhona Mitra, who joined “Strike Back” Season 2 as Major Rachel Dalton, is back as is Michelle Lukes as Sgt. Julia Richmond, and Liam Garrigan (“Pillars of the Earth”) as Sgt. Liam Baxter.
