Courteney Cox Talks Separation With David Arquette & Relying On Jennifer Aniston

Courteney Cox is opening up about her separation from husband David Arquette – and the “Cougar Town” star reportedly says she’s not getting a divorce.

“I don’t know what will happen, but this is not like we’re getting divorced,” the actress said of her 11-year marriage in an interview with TV Week, People reported. “This is a separation and I think that takes a lot of courage . . . Whatever is supposed to happen will be the best thing for us.”

Adding, “Sometimes you just realize ‘Wow, we actually have grown apart.”

During her relationship woes, Courteney said she’s been leaning on longtime pal and former “Friends” co-star Jennifer Aniston.

“We just have fun, we laugh, we’re inseparable and it’s great,” Courteney said. “It’s funny, a lot of really close friends are kind of going through this right now or like Jennifer [who] has gone through it. I don’t know what’s going on in the planets or what, but things are being shaken up and I don’t know what’s going to happen, but, yeah, Jennifer has been amazing for sure.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the couple reunited on Halloween to take their daughter Coco, 6, trick-or-treating. David Tweeted a photo of Courteney’s costume calling it “incredible.”
