Emma Stone & Andrew Garfield Taking A Relationship Break

Say it ain’t so! One of our favorite couples, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, has reportedly hit a snag in their relationship.

The “Amazing Spider-Man” stars are taking a break from dating, according to People.

With Andrew in Taiwan shooting Martin Scorsese’s “Silence” and Emma stateside, the strains of a long-distance relationship began to take a toll.

“He’s thrown himself in the project to the detriment of all else,” a source told the mag of Andrew’s commitment to his latest project. “But it’s too early to say the relationship is over.”

The actor was noticeably missing from Emma’s side at this year’s Golden Globes and Academy Awards, where his girlfriend was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her “Birdman” performance.

“They’re taking a break from seeing each other,” the source added. “They’re both a slave to their schedules. This time last year they were privately discussing marriage.”

A second source reiterated that the couple’s split won’t likely be permanent.

“They are just separated for work,” the insider told the mag. “Andrew is overseas. They are both busy with their careers and have not seen each other.”

Emma and Andrew have been dating for more than three years.

They were last photographed together in New York City in early January.
