FOX Pulls ‘Bones’ Campus Episode After College Massacre

In the wake of the tragedy on the campus of Virginia Tech, FOX has decided to pull its latest episode of “Bones” from the schedule, the network announced today.

The new episode, originally scheduled to air Wednesday night, involved human remains found on a college campus.

A “Bones” repeat will air in its place.

“Out of sensitivity to the victims and families touched by this senseless tragedy, we felt the change was appropriate,” a FOX spokesperson told Access Hollywood.

Ironically, this isn’t the first time real-life tragedy has affected a David Boreanaz show.

In 1999, the season finale of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” was pulled from the WB schedule following the Columbine High School shootings.
