As Vogue approaches its 120th year as a magazine, the publication has — appropriately — released a list of 120 fashion socialites to highlight the impact of their personal style in the larger scheme of trends within the industry. The names range from fashion models and designers to online editors and Hollywood stars.
Norman Jean Roy took on the photo project to create the Vogue anniversary portfolio featuring familiar faces, including Rooney Mara dressed as a Ballerina with her body lifted in the air and Jennifer Lawrenc, who ditches her tomboy side as she is photographed in a stunning red leotard and leather jacket to bring out her fierce and gorgeous look.
Other photographs within the portfolio include Kristen Stewart wearing her favorite brand, Balenciaga, alongside the fashion house’s creative director and Florence Welch as a fearless horse rider wearing an imperial Gucci coat with a Valentino lace dress.
Pop monster Lady Gaga, who happens to be the top-selling cover girl, will grace the September issue’s cover for the second time.
Other noteworthy celebrities include Rihanna, Beyonce, Zoe Saldana, Emma Stone, Blake Lively, Adele and Kate Middleton.
