Nicole Kidman is having a busy summer as an actress!
After starring in the romantic comedy “A Family Affair” this June and debuting her thriller “Babygirl” at the Venice Film Festival in August, the Australian actress is now celebrating the release of her buzzy new crime mystery miniseries “The Perfect Couple.”
“I’m part of an extraordinary ensemble in this, and each person in the show has their own – they’re all so good,” she told Access Hollywood at the Netflix series’ Los Angeles premiere.
“The Perfect Couple” follows a woman named Amelia (Eve Hewson) who is preparing to marry into a wealthy Nantucket family – only for a body to be discovered on the beach ahead of the big day.
Nicole portrays Greer Garrison Winbury, a famous novelist and the mother of the groom.
“I hope people tune in, because it’s really fun. Susanne Bier, who directed it is here, and she’s just fabulous,” Nicole shared.
When asked what motivates her to keep taking on new roles and reaching new heights in her career, she shared that her passion for her craft is at the heart of it.
“I think as an actor, I’m just so fortunate to be doing what I love to do, and also producing,” she said.
“The Perfect Couple” hits Netflix on Sept. 5.
