“Mission complete,” he captioned the photo of Sully beside the casket.

The 41st president passed away on Friday, November 30, at the age of 94.

Sully, 2, was introduced to the former president back in June to provide assistance with daily activities like opening doors and calling for help.

According to his doggy Instagram account, Sully loves to play on the beach, mingle with other dogs, and even helped our 41st president cast his vote in November!

CNN reported that Sully will accompany the Bush family as they travel with the casket to Washington D. C. for the days-long funeral processions.

After paying his respects to his “boss,” Sully will resume his duties helping wounded veterans and service members as they recover, NPR reports.
