Teri Hatcher Joins ‘Supergirl’ For Multi-Episode Guest Arc

Another “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures Of
Superman” alum is joining the cast of The CW’s “Supergirl” –
Teri Hatcher!

Teri, who played Lois to Dean Cain’s Clark, will appear in a
multi-episode arc on “Supergirl.”

No character name was available for Teri’s
“Supergirl” role, but AccessHollywood.com has learned she’ll be the new Big Bad of Season 2!

“Supergirl” Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg released a statement about Teri’s casting.

“No offense to any of the wonderful actresses who have also played the part, but Teri Hatcher is my all-time favorite Lois Lane. To have her come back to the SuperWorld in a completely different part is an unbelievable gift to me, Greg, and the fans,” he said.

Teri’s “Lois & Clark” co-star Dean has been playing Jeremiah Danvers, dad of Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) and Earth dad to Kara Danvers/Zor-El, aka Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), since Season 1. Teri also has a connection with “Supergirl’s” Mehcad Brooks, who plays James Olsen. He played Matthew on her former series “Desperate Housewives.”

“Supergirl” airs Mondays at 8/7c on The CW.
