Tom Holland busts Jake Gyllenhaal practicing his Spidey moves!
Tom shared an Instagram Story video thanking fans from Comic-Con in Brazil on Saturday, and while in the background, Jake is seen admiring himself in the mirror shooting pretend webs from his hands.
“Jake, what are you doing,” Tom asks.
Embarrassed, Jake quickly replies, “Just drying my hands!”
Jake will co-star alongside Tom in an upcoming “Spider-Man: Far from Home” playing villain Mysterio. The actor confirmed the news in his first Instagram post, sharing a hilarious video of him reading a Spider-Man comic and coming to the realization that he’s not playing the titular hero.
“I just realized I’m not playing Spider-Man,” Jake joked. His co-stars and extended Marvel family got in on the fun, too. Zendaya responded to Jake’s post with clap emojis, while Tom fired back, “I just realised I AM playing Spiderman.” “Deadpool” star Ryan Reynolds chimed in writing, “I just realized I’m not playing Spider-Man either.” EvaneHulk himself, Mark Ruffalo, simply said, “Same,” with a frown emoji.
The cast is definitely living it up in Brazil with fans. Tom shared a video on Instagram highlighting their fun-filled weekend, writing alongside the post, “Can’t get over this weekend.”
Jake posted an Instagram Story of him walking out on stage to be greeted by screaming fans.
The upcoming “Spider-Man” film takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame” as Peter Parker and friends take a vacation to Europe, where they have a run-in with Mysterio.
“Spider-Man: Far From Home” swings into theaters in July 2019.
