Will Smith & Jimmy Fallon Rap ‘It Takes Two’

It took two – Will Smith and Jimmy Fallon – for one of “The Tonight Show’s” best moments of the week to happen on Thursday’s show.

“We have a lot in common,” Jimmy told Will. “We both love music. We like rap music. You’re a famous rapper. I’m a classically trained beatboxer.”

Jimmy then revealed the iPad app Loopy, which the duo used to record a series of beats, which the app looped together.

Will and Jimmy then launched into a version of Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock’s classic rap song, “It Takes Two.”

“I wanna rock right now, I’m Will Smith and I’m J-Fall,” the pair rapped. “I’m not internationally known. Me and the Roots come from the same home [Philly].”

Will and Jimmy then got the crowd on their feet as Jimmy’s house band, The Roots, joined in on their version of the song.

Jimmy started off his week of shows in Los Angeles with a hilarious parody of Will’s former sitcom “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”
