Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell’s family has a special reason to celebrate this holiday season. The longtime couple’s son, Wyatt Russell, is engaged!
The actor popped the question to girlfriend Meredith Hagner during a Colorado ski trip this week, and the bride-to-be shared the happy news with a romantic Instagram post.

“The love of my dang life proposed to me. He is the best guy in the world,” she wrote, captioning a trio of swoon-worthy photos.
Meredith went on to reveal that their loved ones were also present for the exciting moment, which she gushed was “an epic surprise” that she would give “5 stars on Yelp.”
In addition to cute snaps of her and Wyatt, the “Search Party” actress also posted a close-up look at her stunning ring. Meredith showed off the round-cut halo diamond against a snowy backdrop, and followers chimed in with congratulatory comments.

The spouses-to-be’s love story mirrors that of Wyatt’s superstar parents. He and Meredith met on the set of their 2016 comedy “Folk Hero & Funny Guy,” while Goldie and Kurt ignited their now-35-year romance while working together on 1983’s “Swing Shift.”
This will be Meredith’s first marriage and Wyatt’s second. The “Lodge 49” star was previously wed to stylist Sanne Hamers.
He and Meredith got a major head start on their life together earlier this year. According to the Los Angeles Times, the pair purchased a $1.7 million home in the city’s Sherman Oaks neighborhood back in April.
Wyatt and Meredith’s engagement comes on the heels of a milestone for his sister, Kate Hudson. In October, the A-lister and boyfriend Danny Fujikawa welcomed daughter Rani Rose.
