2025 SAG Awards Nominations Snubs & Surprises: Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie & More

The nominations for the 2025 Screen Actors Guild awards are here, and we’re breaking down all of the snubs and surprises. The list of nominees – voted by members of SAG-AFTRA, was released on Jan. 8, with “Wicked” leading the film categories with five nominations, and “Shōgun” leading television with five as well. It was a competitive year; while many fan-favorite performances were recognized, some stars notably missed the list. Among them, Nicole Kidman did not make the cut for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role list for her role in “Babygirl.” Angelina Jolie was also missed a nomination in the same category for her starring role in “Maria.”
