Accident With Prop Gun Leaves Woman Dead On Set Of Alec Baldwin’s Film ‘Rust’

A cinematographer was killed on the New Mexico set of Alec Baldwin’s new movie “Rust” after she was injured in an accident with a prop gun on Thursday. Director of photography Halyna Hutchins was killed, director Joel Souza was also wounded in the incident. The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s office said in a statement that Hutchins and Souza “were shot when a prop firearm was discharged by Alec Baldwin.”
