Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson is sharing her own life story in a new Lifetime biopic. The 19-year-old is the narrator of the upcoming Lifetime movie “I Was Honey Boo Boo,” which tells the tale of her life in the spotlight from her perspective, including her family struggles with “Mama June” Shannon. “I Was Honey Boo Boo” premieres May 17 at 8/7c on Lifetime.
