Whoopi Goldberg Moves Pregnant Anne Hathaway To Tears On ‘The View’

Anne Hathaway is feeling the love from Whoopi Goldberg. The actress, who is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman, made an appearance on the Monday, July 20, episode of “The View” alongside “The Odyssey” costar Matt Damon and director Christopher Nolan to promote their summer blockbuster. At the end of the interview, Goldberg shared her praise for the trio, leading to an emotional moment between herself and Hathaway, who was moved to tears. “Anne Hathaway, it’s been wonderful watching you. It’s been wonderful watching you grow up. And you have just blossomed, turned into this fabulous actress. Girl!” the EGOT winner said, as Hathaway covered her mouth with her hands before interjecting, “No, don’t!” Goldberg then insisted the actress needs “to know” leading her to reply, “I would be crying if I wasn’t pregnant right now.” She continued, “I don’t know what to say, thank you. You know how I feel about you.” “The Odyssey” was released in theaters on July 17 and has already grossed $264 million worldwide.
