Amal Clooney is supporting her husband, George Clooney, on a very special night. The 48-year-old lawyer was by her man’s side at the Venice International Film Festival’s Opening Ceremony on Sept. 2, where the Oscar winner was honored with the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement. The pair were the epitome of luxury as they arrived at the red carpet on a wood boat as they smiled and waved to a crowd. Once they stepped out, Amal looked stunning in a chic floor-length black Tom Ford by Haider Ackerman column dress. Meanwhile, George kept it classic in a black tuxedo and bow tie. The two made their way down the carpet hand-in-hand and smiling for photographs. During the ceremony Laura Dern presented George with the honor and stepped out with him afterwards to pose for pictures.
