Amanda Bynes Released From Hospital, Receiving Outpatient Care Weeks After Psychiatric Hold

Amanda Bynes has been released from the hospital weeks after she was placed on a 72-hour psychiatric hold, Access Hollywood has learned. A source close to the situation told NBC News on Tuesday that the former actress is now receiving outpatient care. TMZ reports that Bynes was discharged earlier this week after she and medical staff determined she was ready to resume her day-to-day life. According to the outlet, an eyewitness saw Bynes walking near downtown Los Angeles last month without any clothes on. She reportedly flagged down a car, told the driver she was coming down from a psychotic episode and called 911 herself. Access Hollywood previously reached out to the LAPD and Bynes’ team for comment.
