Amber Heard’s ‘In The Fire’ Drops First Trailer For Her Return To Movies After Johnny Depp Trial
Amber Heard is back on the big screen. An official trailer dropped on Sept. 20 for “In the Fire,” the “Aquaman” star’s first movie since facing off with ex-husband Johnny Depp in court. The indie thriller stars Amber as a doctor who travels to a remote plantation in the 1890s to care for a boy who is believed to be demonically possessed. Amber supported the movie at Italy’s Taormina Film Festival in June, walking the red carpet with director Conor Allyn and her co-star Eduardo Noriego. The 37-year-old’s return to Hollywood comes more than a year after her and Johnny’s high-profile defamation trial, which saw a jury award the actor more than $10 million in damages over a 2018 op-ed Amber wrote in which she described herself as a domestic abuse survivor. “In the Fire” premieres in theaters and on digital and on demand Oct. 13.
