‘Love Island USA’ Winner Trinity Tatum Defends Zach Georgiou Amid Online Hate
The “Love Island USA” finalists are showing their support for Zach Georgiou. On July 14, Season 8 winner Trinity Tatum shared a statement on her Instagram Story asking viewers to stop the “hate” and “ignorant comments” directed toward towards Zach. “Coming out the villa one [thing] I want to say I’m very blessed and appreciative of the love of support everyone has given me,” she began her statement. “With that being said I wanna say the hate & ignorant comments some of you guys are doing regarding Zach is absolutely not okay and needs to stop it’s very disheartening and we are people just like everyone else,” she added. “We genuinely have love for each other inside and out of the villa and he’s one of the most amazing people I’ve met so please have some empathy,” she concluded also tagging her fellow islanders, Aniya Harvey, Bryce Bettloff, Kayda Bosse, Melanie Moreno, Carl Schmidt, Sincere Rhea and Zach. Zach’s brother and Season 7 contestant Charlie Georgiou also called out fans on social media, writing on Threads, “To all the people who don’t like me anymore for defending my brother, I’m glad. Genuinely I don’t need support from people that bully my brother online for absolute minute reasons.”
