Anderson Cooper Hit With Debris From Hurricane Milton While Reporting Live On TV
Anderson Cooper had a scary moment while reporting on Hurricane Milton. The CNN anchor was in Bradenton, Florida on Oct. 9 reporting on the stormy conditions when he was hit by debris. “If you look at the ground—whoa!” the 57-year-old was heard saying as something large flew into the shot, hitting him. “That wasn’t good. We’ll probably go inside shortly,” Coopers said, shocked but seemingly uninjured. He later picked up the debris and showed it to viewers, describing it as a piece of “styrofoam.” Hurricane Milton made landfall in Florida as a category 3 hurricane, leaving more than 2 million people without power and leaving serious damage.
