Angelica Ross Says Emma Roberts Apologized After She Was Accused Of Making Transphobic Remark

Angelica Ross claims Emma Roberts has apologized to her. After the “American Horror Story” actress accused her co-star of making a transphobic comment on the set of their hit FX show, Ross says Roberts has reached out to her. “Thank you @RobertsEmma for calling and apologizing, recognizing your behavior was not that of an ally. I will leave the line open to follow up on your desire to do better and support social justice causes with your platform,” the 42-year-old wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. The update comes just hours after Ross claimed that Roberts intentionally misgendered her on the set of the television series’ ninth season. Ross, who is transgender, alleged that Roberts told someone on set named John that she was “being mean,” and that John tried to get them back to work. “John is like, ‘OK ladies, that’s enough, let’s you know, like, get back to work.’ And she then looks at me and she goes, ‘Don’t you mean lady?’ And she turns around like this and covers her mouth,” Ross claimed. Roberts has not publicly spoken on Ross’ claims, and Access Hollywood has reached out to reps for the “Scream Queens” star for comment.
