Angelina Jolie Returns To Iraq To Visit Genocide Survivors 8 Years After ISIS Attacks
Angelina Jolie is continuing her humanitarian efforts abroad. The Oscar winner was in northern Iraq meeting with Yazidi genocide survivors eight years after Islamic State (ISIS) attacks. Human rights activist Nadia Murad shared photos from Angelina’s visit to Sinjar on the website for her non-profit, Nadia’s Initiative. In one photo the 47-year-old holds hands with a woman while she talks to people who survived the genocide. In another snap, the “Eternals” star chats with little kids.
