Bebe Rexha Concert Attendee Arrested & Charged With Assault In Cell Phone Throwing Incident
Bebe Rexha is healing after a concertgoer allegedly threw a cell phone at her, striking her in the face, while she was performing in New York City. A 27-year-old man was arrested by the New York Police Department and released without bail after being arraigned today on assault, aggravated harassment and other charges. According to court records, authorities claim the concertgoer confessed he was trying to hit Rexha at the end of her show because he thought “it would be funny.” His attorney tells NBC News that his client entered a not guilty plea and that the concertgoer “never his intention to injure” Bebe, but rather have her “take photos with his phone, and return it as a keepsake.”
