Beyoncé Threatens Donald Trump’s Campaign With Legal Action Over Using Her Song
Beyoncé is threatening legal action against former President Donald Trump after her music was used by his campaign. In a now deleted video posted to X by Trump’s campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung, the singer’s song “Freedom” was included over video of the former president walking off a plane in Michigan. According to a Rolling Stone report, the “Cowboy Carter” singer did not give the campaign permission to use the song and has threatened to send a cease-and-desist. The song has recently become associated with Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign after Beyoncé gave her campaign permission to use it.
