Bindi Irwin is giving a health update one day after she missed the annual Steve Irwin Gala due to an emergency. The 26-year-old shared a video on Instagram on May 12, explaining to her 5.7 million fans that she got her appendix removed along with another 14 endometriosis lesions. “Surgery was a success,” she wrote on Instagram. “My appendix was removed, along with another 14 lesions (after having 37 endometriosis lesions and a cyst removed two years ago). I also had a repair to a large hernia I acquired through childbirth four years ago. Thankfully, I am on the road to recovery.”
