Cardi B Shares Update After Microphone Throwing Incident: ‘What Happens In Vegas, Stays In Vegas’

Cardi B appears to be moving past the drama. On Monday, the rapper shared her first post since her Las Vegas concert incident over the weekend. In the video, the 30-year-old dances and lounges in a pool alongside her husband Offset, writing “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.” The Grammy winner may be alluding to her microphone throwing incident in the caption. On Saturday, she was performing at Drai’s Beach Club when someone threw a drink at her mid-performance. The “WAP” songstress quickly reacted by throwing her microphone into the crowd at the show. That concertgoer has since filed a police report for battery with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, per authorities, NBC News confirms. The woman was allegedly “struck by an item that was thrown from the stage” during a concert on Saturday, police said in a statement to NBC News. Authorities did not mention Cardi in their statement, but the incident address they gave matched the location where she was performing over the weekend. No arrest or citations have been issued.
