Carson Daly Says He ‘Immediately Apologized’ To Meghan Markle After Calling Her A ‘Kick Ass Woman’

Carson Daly has nothing but great things to say about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry! The “Today” co-host moderated a panel with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on Oct. 10 for World Mental Health Day, and now he is telling Access Hollywood all about his royal encounter. “We had more time off stage than on stage which was great,” he told Access. “We were just talking. We’re all parents, we’re all in this fight for mental health. They’re lovely,” he added. The television personality also told Access how he felt after he called Meghan a “kick ass woman” during the panel. “I said she’s a bad ass. I immediately apologized,” he said. “She was laughing and look they’re incredible. That was so much fun to do that with them.”
