‘Dancing With the Stars’ Pro Val Chmerkovskiy Speaks Out After Hospitalization On Tour

Val Chmerkovskiy is sharing a health update after he was forced to miss a stop on the “Dancing With the Stars” tour. On Sunday, March 1, it was announced on social media that due to “an unforeseen and last-minute illness, Val will not be able to perform” in the Peoria, Ill. show. That same day, the 3-time mirror ball champion shared a video of himself in a hospital bed explaining that he was experiencing vertigo. “What up, friends? So, yeah. My bad. I ended up out here in Peoria, but the doc was cool. Shout out to Claire our PT on tour and everybody on tour for rallying. I just been having vertigo for the past couple of days, and yesterday, I was able to get through the show. And then we ran some tests,” he noted in part, adding, “I’m just spinning everywhere and so on the bus when it’s moving, you know, I woke up and I just couldn’t get myself together.” The 39-year-old went on to say that he hopes to be back in the show on Tuesday, March 3.
