Dove Cameron is speaking out. The “Descendants” star won the New Artist of the Year award at the 2022 American Music Awards on Sunday, and during her acceptance speech she dedicated her win to the LGBTQIA+ community and pleaded for more visibility in light of the recent mass shooting at a Colorado bar that killed 5 people and injured 25.
